June 25: David Beckingham

It's the first show of summer! I don't know why I'm excited. It just means the studio is going to be stinking hot. It would be hot anyway because our guest tonight is the very hot David Beckingham: singer, songwriter, pop star. David is in the fantastic indie pop band Hey Ocean! I don't know the status of this band, since he and Ashleigh Ball both have recently released solo projects, but they're playing at Canada Place on Canada Day to celebrate the country's 150th birthday. We'll find out tonight if they have plans for other shows, too. I hope so. But we'll talk about all sorts of things, as we do, like the time he couldn't speak for a month.
