Feb. 5: David DJ Roy
Is David DJ Roy hopelessly unfunny? Or does he have star power? That's what the Matt Frame's documentary No Joke tries to find out (and we'll find out once it's released). Roy was one of three test subjects who were rejected by their hometown crowds and went to LA to audition for Jamie Masada of the Laugh Factory. Maybe we'll get a hint of what transpired down there.
Roy's got a show coming up at Sorry Babushka on the 9th so you can see for yourself. He's also got some stories, such as how he got into the porn industry... Say what? It's true, apparently. We'll find out tonight at 11 PST.
