It's a snow day so why not stay in, make some hot chocolate, and listen to What's So Funny? tonight. I met Kwasi Thomas last week. We talked over a beer as I interviewed him for a story I did in the Georgia Straight about the Underground Comedy Railroad Tour he was a part of. He was such an engaging guy, I asked him to join us on the show tonight. The tour paid a whistle-stop at the Rio Theatre in Vancouver last night so we'll find out how it went. We'll talk about what it means to be a black comic in the Great White North. We'll also ask how the Montreal anglo native is adjusting to west coast living. He must be loving the snow.
