Podcast episode 409ish: Robert Kelly

Robert Kelly is a standup, actor and podcaster. And he's successful at all of them! He's got a new Netflix special, stars with Denis Leary on Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, and hosts You Know What, Dude! He's got the Midas touch, I tell ya. He shows his human side on the drums, though, that he had to learn for the FX series. He claims he's not very good. We had a good conversation in this episode. Kelly discusses his need to be liked, his love of honesty, his fall-out with old friends, and his mother's words of advice.

We're still having trouble with iTunes but we have confidence we'll be up there again soon. If you subscribe to us on iTunes, it's no problem. We're up to date. But for new listeners, for some reason we're not showing up. You can listen below or at Stitcher or wherever else you can find us.

Nov. 29: Robert Kelly

Tonight we're airing a chat I had with New York-based standup and actor Robert Kelly just over a week ago. I first saw Kelly in Vancouver performing at the old GM Place opening for his homeboy Dane Cook in 2009. This time he was here with the Just For Laughs Comedy tour. You might know him from Louie, where he plays Louis C.K.'s brother. Or maybe from his current series with Denis Leary,
Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. He was also in Amy Schumer's hit movie Trainwreck. We talk about all of the above, if memory serves. And more!

So tune in to CFRO 100.5 FM tonight from 11 to just after midnight for all the scintillating conversation.
