Here's a little mid-week surprise for you. The Just For Laughs Canadian Comedy Tour rolled into town and the comics had an off-day before their shows in Surrey on Thursday (Nov. 19) and at the Vogue in Vancouver on Friday, so I thought I'd nab a couple of the comics. I spoke to Toronto standup Graham Chittenden first, so that's the bonus episode, if you will, right here. Usually What's So Funny? airs on the radio first and then makes its way to the podcast. This is opposite. I'm releasing the podcast first and then we'll air it on Sunday night radio-side. Graham was a lot of fun to talk to. We talked about life on the caravan, why he doesn't play clubs in Vancouver, how he can relax on an airplane, interviewing Sarah Silverman, and writing for CBC's Mr. D.
Here's the gizmo to get you going. Click it then sit back and enjoy. Or go to one of the many fine podcast dispensaries to download it. You know, Stitcher, TuneIn, or iTunes (although iTunes is still screwed up. It's disappeared from there but they're working on the glitch as we speak. It's happened before). So there you go. Oh, and if you're in the area, go check out the tour. As I said, they're in Surrey and Vancouver Thursday and Friday, then the final show of the tour in Victoria on Saturday (Nov. 21).
Next week: Robert Kelly from Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, Louie and Trainwreck joins us!
