June 17: Harry Doupe

Fathers, my gift to you on this fatherest of Fathers' Day is non-father Harry Doupe. If I'm wrong on that, and there are some mini-Doupes running around somewhere, I'm sure he'll correct me tonight. It's always fun when Harry comes to town. The BC boy's been in the lower mainland this month from his home in Toronto and he packed his opinions, which he'll unload tonight in his semi-annual visit to the What's So Funny? studios. I also always love to hear stories of the early (1980s) days of comedy in the city, and he's always got some, so I'm looking forward to it.
